Month 1
Module 1: 20 Hours of online education
followed by 2 days On-site training (Practicals & Clinicals)
Implant Surgery
  • Local Anasthesia / Sterilisation
  • Incision, Flap design & Suturing
  • Freehand & Guided

  • Surgical armamentarium.
  • Bone Condensation
    (Osseodensification)
On-Site Practicals and Clinical
procedures
(2 days onsite at the end of month 1)
  • Model – Hands-on Implant Surgery – Includes hands-on experience with dummy implants
  • Demostration of various flap procedures
    and sutering techniques on animal
    model with hands-on by participants
  • Each participant will place 4 implants on patients.
  • Participants will also gain practical experience
    by assisting implant surgeries.

Implant Surgical / Prosthetic Treatment Planning
  • Introduction to Implantology – Historical perspectives & evolution of implant dentistry.
  • Implant biomaterial, Implant designs & Surface treatment.
  • Medical & Dental Assessment
  • Surgical treatment planning – Applied Anatomy
  • Bone quality and quantity Assessment
  • Prosthetic planning – Edentulous space assessment for single / multiple implants
  • Restorative Considerations – Screw Vs Cemented retained restoration
  • Periodontal – Gingival biotype, Biological width
  • Radiological planning – including CBCT interpretation.
  • Digital planning
  • Surgical guide fabrication – Model-based / Digital printing
Month 2 – 4
Module 2: 20 Hours of online education
followed by 2 days Onsite Practicals &
Clinical Training
Online Content Prosthetic / Adjunct Procedures
  • Second-Stage Implant Surgery (Implant Exposure) including laser assisted implant exposure.
  • Implant Stability Assessment – Evaluate implant stability using ISQ (Implant Stability Quotient).
  • Definitive Impression Techniques for Implant Prosthetics.
  • Open-tray and closed-tray impression techniques.
  • Abutment selection.
  • Temporization techniques and soft tissue conditioning.
  • Minor grafting procedure – Bone substitutes / soft tissue substitutes.
On-Site Practicals and Clinical procedures
(2 days onsite at the end of month 1)
  • Participants will engage in hands-on abutment selection and impression techniques on models.
  • Live demonstration on patients focusing on abutment selection and impression techniques.
  • Participants will perform hands-on abutment placement and impression procedures on patients under the guidance of mentors.
Month 5 & 6
Module 3: 20 Hours of online education
followed by 1 day On-site Practicals & Certification

  • Implant placement protocols following extraction: Immediate / early / Intermediate.
  • Socket preservation
  • Alveolar Ridge Preservation (ARP)
  • Digital Impression and custom abutment designing.
  • Definitive prosthesis and Material selection.
  • Cementation protocols in implant techniques.
  • Socket Shield or partial extraction technique.
  • Implant maintenance.
  • Implant complications and management.
  • Miscellaneous topics.
On-Site Practicals and Clinical (1 day) –
at the end of month 6
  • This session will include a hands-on patient segment focused on final prosthetics, along with a written evaluation through an MCQ test.
  • Upon completion, participants will receive logbook certification.
  • At the end of the day, successful candidates will be awarded course certificates.
